Playboi Carti has announced that it will be releasing a new album this week called Whole Lotta Red. The sequel to Die Lit in 2018, the Atlanta rapper’s second album, will be released this Friday, December 25.

Announcing the album and its release date on Twitter last night (December 21), Carti described Whole Lotta Red as "mY b3sT w0rk AGAIN".
The LP was produced by Kanye West and includes the single "@ MEH". Earlier this year, Carti appeared in Drake's "Pain 1993" and was featured in Lil Yachty's "Flex Up".
