Why India is one of the most developed countries and what is stopping it from becoming a developed country?  Whenever I read something about the education system of India, this particular question surprises me.  I see India's education system as a barrier to the goal of achieving inclusive growth.

1. The Indian Education system: Overview

Our country India has always been famous for its education since time immemorial. In ancient times, there was a Guru Kula education system in India in which a person who wanted to study went to a teacher's house and asked him to teach.  If accepted as a student, the teacher allows the student to stay in his or her place and assist in all household chores.  This not only created a strong bond between the teacher and the student, but also taught the student everything about driving home.  The teacher teaches students what they want to learn, from Sanskrit to scripture and mathematics to metaphysics.  All teaching was closely linked to nature and life as long as the student wanted or the teacher felt he could teach everything, and was not limited to memorizing just a few facts.

Until the 17th century, India was considered the richest country in the world. Of course, due to the arrival of foreign colonists and the wrong policies of the then rulers, India lost almost all its wealth and knowledge.  The original lord, Lord Thomas Babington Macaulay, introduced the modern school system in India, including the English language, in the 1830s.  Educational programs and so-called modern subjects such as science and mathematics were limited and subjects such as metaphysics and philosophy were considered unnecessary.  Teaching was limited to classrooms and there were connections with nature and a close relationship between teacher and students.

The modern education system is supported by a formula: 'affordable, necessary and traditional education for all' Even people are able to decide on their own terms which means of education would be best for them.  However, many people are unaware of words and literacy.  Therefore, they will only resort to this as a last resort. Everyone needs to be educated, because other countries are at the forefront of education.  It is in everyone's hands that there should be proper system of education which is safe for all.  In addition, the government has taken steps to raise the level of education.

   2. The main features of the modern education system in India are:

  •    Compulsory education for all or all children for fourteen years. Children below this age should be educated in all public or private schools.
  •    If a child is forced to do any work other than being educated, the person involved in such activities will be treated as per law.
  •    After receiving primary education, a child can be given secondary education
  •    To educate everyone at this level, the central and state governments are involved through their boards, which are created for this purpose.
  •    There is also a private board that conducts high school or intermediate exams
  •    After their 10 + 2 (secondary school), a person can earn a bachelor's, master's and an elective specialty degree in various fields of their choice.

The above points seem simple but the system also has some flaws.

  3. Advantages and disadvantages of Indian education system

Indian education system child. Benefits of indian education. India has seen a lot of progress in the economy with the advancement of education.  People are less unemployed and some of them are independent or self-reliant. One of the best positive things is that child labor has gone to an excellent level.

Reservation is also available for socially deprived people. Current figure 7.5 for Scheduled Tribes  % Is 15% for Scheduled Castes and 27% for Other Backward Classes, but the exact percentage varies from state to state.  Based on the local population, Haryana has 18% reservation for SC, 1% for OBC and 0% for ST.  In Tamil Nadu, the reservation rate for Scheduled Castes is 18% and for Scheduled Tribes based on the local population is 1%.

There are now two main boards, except state boards, which provide education up to higher secondary level i.e. ICSE and CBSE.  In addition, there is an open university that offers home-based education. If you cross-check the technical fields, there are many institutes that offer higher education. In addition, you will find some institutes that provide e-tutorials.

Indian education problem

The main downside of the current education system is that it is not easily accessible.  Today, more than 37% of the people in India live below the poverty line.  Therefore, they cannot teach even at primary level.

Another reason for poor quality of education is poor quality of teachers in government schools.  The level of government is not expected and they do not have an honest image among the people. The next possibility is the private sector, which offers degrees from private to undergraduate.  However, they are very expensive and the admission process for the general public is complex.

The best part of the Indian education system was its 'basic education' and it was in ancient India.  It stimulates the mind, body, soul, improves concentration and relieves stress. Invites inner feelings. In the CBSE system, continuous analysis and understanding of theory concepts is compelled to do well in student life.  However, the annual system can be a source of encouragement for slow and average students. Understanding the various things and ensuring that everyone weighs the same is another great way to give the world a sense of security.  There is a mixture of logic and efficiency, with equal emphasis on left and right brains.  It is a comprehensive education system.

In addition, there are many political and political leaders who create a huge gap between the Government of India and the general public, some of them take money from the government, yet do not use it for the common man. Also, many socially  Advanced people will benefit from the benefits of reservation system. The problem lies between illiteracy and a large percentage of the population. Any development requires more attention on these two things.

 4.  Steps to improve the current system:

To enhance and enhance the current education system and to make it accessible to all, the following steps should be taken:

  •    The government should take steps to increase the number of primary schools so that the people of every village can get an education.
  •    More emphasis should be placed on adult education as parents and parents should first be educated there, as they would be interested in educating the wards there.
  •    The role of private organizations should be restricted so that people do not trust them too much.  Thus, they will not be charged as much as they would like
  •    The status of government colleges and institutes should be raised to the appropriate level
  •    The new syllabus should replace the old one so that the students will be given the latest knowledge.
  •    Education loans should be easily available so that poor students can get higher education.
  •    There should be strict rules about cheating and coaching mafia
  •    Furthermore, the education system should be free from corruption.
  •    All should be given equal opportunities without discrimination between rich and poor or gender.
  •    Girl and girl talk on our lively bulletin boards!

Conclusion:

The theory is that even in modern times, India can stand on the verge of a rich state of knowledge and be oppressed with neither beauty nor morality.  In short, India is a progressive country and the current scenario of Indian education can be greatly improved. The only step is to strengthen oneself and praise good people and punish the wrong rules, no matter what.  Be the area.  The solution is in question, how will the education system improve?  And the answer is "education". Education is the only way to improve education.
